The Queen has begun to slow down and give more responsibility to Prince Charles. The fact is the she doesn't have to step down and won't do so until SHE is ready. Even at the reduced schedule, she is still more active than people half her age. BACK OFF!

Why should she? She's healthy for her age and she appears to still have all her marbles.
One person said she probably doesn't want to leave Charles and Camilla in charge, but they wouldn't be. The British monarch has no real power. So what would it change? It would just be Charles going around waving to people instead of Elizabeth.

I think she is too frightened to leave Charlie and his wife Camilla in charge. Prince Edward and his Sophie would open Buck House as a bed and breakfast and charge a fortune. If they got the chance so she just has to stick it out until she pops her clogs.
It is a crying shame because she should be laying back in her chair with her feet up, and watching the racing and phoning in her bets to William Hill. She is the only Queen that cant get peace because of her family. I only hope she can take a joke.

The Queen will never step down. When she was crowned Queen in 1953 she swore she would serve her country till death. This she said at her coronation.

her mummy told her to NEVER step down.
She wanted her to beat out
Queen Victoria as the longest ruling monarch!

Cause she cant afford any more negative media. Thats why. Or would you let Prince Charles be next in line? NOt me cause he hasn't quite the morals and values . That's how I see it. I hope William proofs to be more than the heir to the speer.

I like Charles.Elizabeth does it to irritate him.Her Mum was like 101 yrs. when she passed .Chuck may never get the throne!
