I heard;
"end the culture of corruption," repeal Bush’s tax cuts, raise the minimum wage, and implement the 9/11 Commission’s recommendations

but the ones I did not hear are the ones they are doing first;
We promise to legislate defeat in Iraq
We promise to give aid and comfort to our enemies
We promise to cripple our intelligence agencies
We promise to bring government to a grinding halt with endless Congressional hearings
We promise to take away more of your money

These are very disconcerting and I am not sure they would have won a few seats had these been made public. It seems they have forgotten about the promises they made publicly.

The Democrats ran on a bunch of lies. What bothers me is the number of Republicans that bought into this garbage. I had friends who voted for Democrats because of Iraq. They couldn't see past the smoke and mirrors and realize they were voting for Pelosi and Reid.

Pretty much the Dems ran on the Lets bash Bush but
that also translates to lets bash our troops.

The unfortunate thing is that they caught Foley in his lies
of being a homosexual (funny though because the support
homosexual marriage) as well as others, this turned off
some of our conservative voters that switched parties
during that election. Just remember they did not win by
very large margins.

Oh and we expect the Dems to keep their promises, other
than taking our money? Well guess the promises thing
goes with all politicians.

They actually HAD a platform they were running on? Hmmm, everytime I saw Democrat candidates for office they dodged every policy related question posed to them and never really ever said what they stood for. Obviously because if they stated the things you listed along with the other things they REALLY believe in (i.e. killing babies, freeing murderers or letting us just pay for their care forever, abolishment of religion of any type except Islam and Liberalism, etc.) they wouldn't have won nearly enough seats to oust the Republicans from control of the House & Senate.

Losers and liars...all of them!
