Lets put it this way: now that they are illegal can anyone have access to them any old time his heart desires? Yes. Now that they are illegal are they more easily controllable. Hardly. Can you possibly make illegal a plant that can grow all over the world and even in the common closet of a house? No. Can you make illegal substances that come in the form of dusts and thus can be concealed super easily, and trafficked? No. That should answer your question.

There is no excuse for cocaine and heroin.

Marijuana I could understand as there is only a little damage due to this drug. It's use as a gateway drug is the biggest argument against it. The few injuries that are associated with it are due to idiocy like driving while smoking marijuana.

Either getting rid of jail sentences or legalization of marijuana would save the nation over a billion per year in tax money. Most marijuana users who are in jail are non violent. We pay 10s of thousands per person to keep them in jail every year. There are better ways to punish them without punishing tax payers as well.

None. I believe in the decriminalization of marijuana but not the legalization of it, because if legalized big companies will be able to sell and regulate marijuana, adding things such as nicotine to it will be legal, causing it to be addictive. I have no stance on cocaine and heroin, because I do not know enough about them.

As long as we tax it. The way that I see it, people will do drugs whether they are legal or not, so instead of spending millions on stopping them, let them kill themselves so we can get on with our lives. Think about it, if they legalized coke tomorrow, would you be stupid enough to do it?
