I'm taking 2 weeks off work and the 1st day of my holiday, I'm getting my lip pierced. I'm not allowed to wear it at work and will need to change it to a retainer the day I go back.
Is it possible to do this?
Thanks

usually, u are not supposed to change out the initial jewelry until your piercing has completely healed...so, your best bet is to consult with the piercer before u have it done, to solve any doubts...

Ooooo.

If it's either that or lose your job, go for it. It doesn't sound like a great idea, but do you really have another option? Perhaps you could speak to your boss about it and get special permission. Some companies allow facial peircings if you wear a bandaid over them. It would be a little awkward to wear a bandaid on your lip, but it might be worth it to not have to get it redone when the timing is better.

Good luck!

I would say no but I would check with the piercing place. I don't think you are suppose to take out piercings for a while. Especially your mouth, I think they close up the quickest. Plus, you need to let the area heal and switching might aggravate it or infect it.
