That answer is neither because the Green Mountain Railroad (the only train company with green trains left I believe) does not travel to either NY or LA.

The train leaving LA has a greater chance of being green due to the nature of the aliens that are stored in one of the refridgerated compartments. The shipment of widgets from New York give the train a decidely orange color, as the previous poster said.

Neither, because they're both purple. However, they do both have green accents, so I guess you could consider them green...I don't though.
