We invaded Iraq to support the neocon agenda of taking over the middle east and for war profiteering by Bush's buddies. A whole bunch involved with planning this fiasco set up little businesses to profit from the war just before we invaded. A little suspicious if you ask me. Al Qaeda is a master of taking advantage of chaotic situations. They saw the opening after Saddam's fall and they took it.

If Al Qaeda set us up the only one stupid enough to fall for it was Bush and his cronies. Al Qaeda has so many connections world wide that I don't see a reason for them to have to trick us into going to Iraq, they could have and can attack us no matter where we are or how we protect ourselves. One vital piece of info that is commonly left out is that we created, funded, and trained Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden in the seventies while in the process of Iran/Contra using the CIA(Bush Sr. was a big player of it) to fund them to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan. All they are doing is using the same thing we taught them except it is aimed at us now and we are suffering for it. Iraq didn't even have anything to do with Al Qaeda, it has been proven that Saddam was not training them or funding them, he had his own problems to deal with. If they had wanted to set us up somewhere I think it would have been in Syria or Iran, somewhere that they have power and connections directly with the government of that country. Bush and his cronies just wanted to attempt to look good and make it appear that they were doing something, so Saddam turned into their fall guy. They knew he had weapons of mass destruction because Donald Rumsfeld sold him massive amounts of chemical weapons throughout the late seventies and all through the eighties. They had the excuses to attack so they did, they didn't think the whole situation through before they acted though. That is why we are stuck in this horrible situation that we are in now. Al Qeada just took the opportunity that we gave them and the skills we taught them and ran with it.

Iraq was less of a problem for the U.S. when Saddam was in charge. The story of weapons of mass destruction was a fabrication. Bush trapped us in Iraq, not Al Qaeda.

No - in fact you can say that it was the opposite.
I watched Al Quaeda's top car bomb expert die in Iraq on a live video feed.

No indication of that yet, but that's a very good excuse for Bush to use.
