I really want to do it, but I don't want people to know the real reason. You see, I am a crossdresser (most people do not know this, thus the need for an excuse) and have never had my legs shaved, I think it would be fun and open up some more fashion options. So I would love to hear your best ideas for excuses. Thanks

Ok, your answers are great so far. Here's a little more info. Most of my friends know what I do. They're not who the excuse is for. Its geared towards the people I work with and no, I can't just wear pants. Also, I'm 27 years old so I don't think telling them I'm on a swim team or football team would work. Its not that I'm ashamed of who I am (not at all, I have a blast) its just that I know what some people think of people like me and I would rather avoid talking to them about it. :)

umm...you could say that
you are on a football team, and you had to tape you cleats around you ankles so you dont roll them, and it hurt too bad whenever you had to take the tape off so you just shaved...
or..you could say it was a dare from one of your friends...and you decided yo liked not being hairy...you could also leave off the end part...haha
umm...
you were bored...
uhh..
You do it as a sympathy thing for one of your female friends....

Say its for health reasons. Maybe you have like lice in your leg hair and had to shave it off. Then to have an excuse to keep shaving say that it itches too much when it starts to grow out and you have severly dry skin (like exzema) and need to keep them hair free so you can take care of any rashes that might pop up.
Thats all I can think of. My fiances brother shaves his legs but he is a swimmer. My cousin shaves his legs because he is a byciclist and a mountain climber. Shaving various body parts has become a norm amoungst guys....they just won't admit it!

uhhh...well just say that you are going to start athletic swimming, lots of swimmers(almost every ine i know of) shave their legs. Or a byciclist, one of those excuses should work. Good luck!!!

I may not be a guy, but you could try joining a swimming team/club, or pretend it's your favorite hobby. In my book, it's OK for guys to shave if they're on a swim team... it supposedly makes you swim faster. By the by: good for you!!!

Why do you need an excuse? Just tell them its because your a cross dresser and its what you want to do, I mean seriously you just told 2 million strangers that you cross dress why not tell your friends

Just do it. Your a crossdresser so what??? I love gay guys and crossdressers, thier so much fun!!! So who cares, smooth skin on a guy is so hot. Go do it. I couldn't stand to have hairy legs if i was a guy.
