Gonzales, Rove, Rick Renzi, Sara Taylor & Monica Goodling. Doesn't this all point to Bush?

I think it was more errogance than just simple corruption.

The Republicans thought they could blatently take the government and then use it to benefit themselves any way possible. I don't think they counted on the public seeing through their smoke and mirrors so quickly. And I also don't think they counted on the backlash of the mid-term elections. They thought they could start this war, and then dump it into the lap of the next guy, and all of the scrutiny would be on that new guy.

Who would have thought a developmentally challenged individual could spout something of the most intelligence that would fittingly become the slogan of the Republican party as of late?

It doesnt all point to Bush, but Im sure Bush isnt all that innocent. The Republican Party is corrupt and can no longer fulfill a somewhat conservative ideology, which this ideology is a good one. The Democrats are also corrupt. You cant get a straight answer from them anymore. Example? Hillary, Kerry, Edwards, even Obama to a certain extent. Reid uses treats the war like its just a political battle, not a war. Abortion shouldnt even be an issue, we know better nowadays and since Roe v. Wade, its wrong. Both parties need to reform. This may take individuals or even us as a nation. I will not vote for Hillary, Gulliani, Edwards, probably not McCain nor Obama. America is sick of it. Theh same names with the same games.

the project is that the Repubs are not gratifying their conservative base, who needed the borders closed, the illegals deported, and so on. This leads a great adequate (nonetheless nonetheless a small share) team of cons to vote third party (shape party, and so on.), hoping to get a real conservative in workplace. And adequate of the libs and Dems in simple terms shop vote casting the comparable.

The Democrats are far more corrupt than the Republicans. and it seems like the only time anyone pays for it though its a republican, I see the democrats get away with it. Its like do what I tell you not what I do only we dems are allowed to be corrupt,

No it doesn't. You evidently have a perception problem. You see only what you want to see.

Shall we begin a litany of Democrat corruption, including John, Ted and Bobby Kennedy (we won't even bother with Joe) and up through Bill Clinton and self-styled "war hero" John Kerry?

Corruption certainly didn't help, but the Republican Party is falling down because, 1. Bush has lost all touch with reality, and the American people can see it, and 2. Bush values incompetent loyalty more than competent public service.

And Democrats aren't corrupt? Wake up! Both Dems and Reps are corrupt. As I recall, the Clintons were involved in a ton of scandals. (whitewater, monica, etc.)

If only the repubs would hide everything in their freezer or their socks, they could "walk" away unscathed :-)
