How do you know if you are ovulating? I thought because I was having a period I was also automatically ovulating.

you can get pregnant if you miss one day i got pregnant on the pill twice wasnt strong enough

Hi - I am currently TTC'ing and it has been a nightmare. I went off the pill in December and I'm still not ovulating like I should b/c of the pill. Dr said it can take up to a year for your body to get back to normal.

I stopped taking the pill and then I didn't get my period when it was due, I was already pregnant. It took my sister about 8 months though. Sometimes you start ovulating right away and sometimes it can take up to a year.

1 week after!!! I didn't think I was gonna get pregnant since the dr said it takes about 2-3 months for your body to stablize after taking off the pill. However I got pregnant a week after I got off the pill (i'm 24)

I read 2 different articles.
One stated after being on birth control wait 6 months to get pregnant.
The other said 1 month per year you were on it.
However you can get pregnant as soon as you're off it- you can get pregnant even when on it.
I however am on Alesse and child free.

both of my sons were conceived within 2 months of being off the pill ( i had bad reactions to it, so had to stop). both of my boys are very healthy.
