Read the pamphlet if you've missed a dose or two and follow instructions. If it says to throw the pack away then do so.
Talk to the doctor or pharmacist.

You cannot "double up" for that length of time. You can start taking one pill at a time today and make Wednesday your new start day, however, you are now "unprotected" and must act as though you are starting the pill up all over again. Otherwise, you can wait til you have your period again and start a new pack then, but you are again "unprotected" and must restart over again. Either way you go, you need to use back up protection if you are having sex. However, if you are just using the pill to regulate your cycles, it shouldn't throw you off too much although your period may be heavier this cycle. Hope all works out, good luck :)

I wouldnt risk it. Talk to your doctor. If youve been in birth control for a while now, it takes a while for it to get out of your system (or so Ive heard) Ive doubled up before when I skipped a day and I was fine. But everyone is different. My friend got pregnant and she was on birthcontrol, she forgot one day, doubledup, and was pregnant the next week.

The smart thing to do is just as the pack advises...through it out, wait until after your period and start anew. Why risk it doing otherwise? You can't really rely on the anecdotes of others to get you by.

no you cant double it up, you will mess up your whole cycle. just do what it says on the packet and be careful until you have to start the new pack. dont take any chances in either case.

You can take two a day until you're caught up. However I wouldn't recommend it if you're sexually active. At least wait a week AFTER you're caught up to have sex. I was behind on my birth control and did the whole take two a day... etc. & I ended up pregnant, now I have a 1 week old baby girl. haha. So be smart about it.

you can double up if you missed the day before not if you have missed as many days as you have. you are going to make yourself sick. just wait.
