He remembers to cover-up. Gonzo cannot tell the truth because the truth would implicate others. So he is throwing himself under the bus for Rove. Like Libby who was thrown under the bus to protect Rove, against his will and on a promise of a pardon. The hiway will become littered with human speed bumps soon due to the large number of people getting thrown under the bus to protect the White House's True Believers.

Gonzales' claim of memory failure is absurd. He is just trying to protect some neocons in the White House who orchestrated this whole attorney firing fiasco. In the end, Gonzales will just be another fall guy like Libby.

He apparently has been advised to claim he does not recall, to avoid perjury (which this is anyway). So we seem to have Gonzales v. Gonzales. Bush has stated that he had more respect and support for Gonzales after his testimony.

Oh, how short YOUR memories are, you loony lefty crazy kidz!

Hillary said she didn't recall/remember more than 250 times during Whitewater.

Clinton argued what the f'n definition of "is" was. (Sorry, just had to throw that one out there)

Gonzales let's go of 8 attorneys.

Clinton let go of 93.

Bush's biggest flaw was...Not replacing all of the leftover Clinton appointees from the DOJ.

It’s enormously obtrusive that Gonzales is desperate to not remember something suitable by way of fact if he does he would bypass to penal complex. of direction, there is often the potential of a commutation. Interfering with ongoing federal prosecutions is incredibly severe, to not point out the political fallout, and those prosecutions dealt with election fraud. i think of, in spite of the undeniable fact that, that even along with his severe reminiscence lapses, somebody will slip up and we would incredibly discover out the certainty approximately those firings.

YOU AGAIN?!?!! Why can't you get the hint -- we're sick and tired of hearing your anti-war, anti-Bush, anti-America propaganda. Be thankful I don't know where you live because if I did I would personally drop-kick your sorry @$$ across Lake St. Clair into Canada and make damn sure you weren't allowed back into the country. Since you have nothing better to do than bash conservatives for the sake of conservative-bashing and have absolutely nothing to offer in the realm of useful ideas on how to make this country better, do us all a favor and GET THE F**K OUT!!!

There's a difference in being smart vs. being manipulative. Often, manipulative people are not really smart. That's why when manipulative people get caught and still think they can keep on manipulating the system. And that's not being very smart.

With politicians it is convenient memory. Remember only what you want when you want. For the rest of us it is called Alzheimer's disease.

He has selective memory, of course he remembers. He remembers what he was told to forget.
