Does anyone know if a 4R44E on a Mazda B2500 is the same on the 99 Mazda B3000?

I don't know the year of the B2500 but I'm looking for a 4R44E for the B3000 and was wondering if it's exactly the same. Thanks.

Is the bell housing the same?

Yes they're the same transmission. Technically they're a mitsubitshi transmission, but the 4R44E transmission whether it comes from the B2500 or 3000 will be the same.
