I would ask my doctor to be sure.
I had a c-section too and I waited until my 2nd cycle to start back using tampons because the flow was so heavy and it just seemed like I should wait. I also dialated like 6 inches and didn't think that everything was closed up yet.

Firstly, let me congratulate you on the birth of your baby. There is no greater joy in life than to give birth, whether the baby is delivered vaginally or via c-section. Before you use the tampons again, make sure that all vaginal discomfort has seized. I would say 6 weeks should be fine. Good luck and enjoy that new life you helped into the world. MsB.

Yes. The tampon is inserted in the vagina, whereas the c-section is cut into the uterus.
You still need to wait six weeks after the c-section to put ANYTHING in your vaginal canal, but after the doc gives you the "thumbs up", there's no more harm in it than there would be if you had a vaginal birth.

I'm not sure when you had your c-section, but you are not supposed to insert anything into the vagina for 6 weeks, after you have been cleared by your doctor. There is still a risk of infection.

No...I don't have a medical reason why, but you are shedding your uterus right now and the flow could be heavier than a tampon they can handle. The doctors strictly forbid it.

My sister used them as soon as her periods returned after she had her c-section with my niece and had no problems.
