the booths, never use a bed, your proned to skin infections such as (yeast) and can only be treated with a prescription. You are getting good advice from someone who worshiped the salons and learned a lot about how to get the best tan and the best products to use.

Here is some advice that always worked for me, use the booth by doing only 6min's if you burn, wait a day until the burn is gone, second time go back to the booth and increase the minutes up by 3 and cont like this until you reach your max. Now here is the trick don't spend 50 $'s on a bottle of excellerator that is a waste of money, what that does is start you off so by the samples, once tanned, I highly recommend Austraillian bronze gold glitter, check out there website and you will see what I mean, never buy your lotion at the salon only if they are given you a 50% discount, you can call any gym who has a tanning salon in their gym and they will order and charge you what their price is which is 30 less all the time. Once you have rec your color try one of the high presure booths and use that once a week, that cuts down on the time you go each week, you should only have to keep the maintence up by going 3 x's a week depending on your color. Never ever stand on the floor without paper towels, your proned to planter warts, and skin infections from the beds as today the teenagers running these salons are very careless and could really care if the bed or booth is cleaned. Good Luck and be careful

I go tanning in tanning salons alot, and i assure you that the stand up machines are better, cuz it gets your whole body and doesnt miss anything.

I think the regular beds are better because the tan lasts longer. The stand-up beds you get immediate colour, however it fades really quick.

I use both. I do the lay down beds when I want to relax and the stand ups about once a week to even things out!

I personally think that the beds are better. I have a bad back & lying down seems to work best for me.
