When I say National Primary, I mean a single day that all primaries are held instead of them staggard accross 6 months as they are now. Please notice, I am not asking for the drawbacks of a national primary.

The biggest benefit that I can see would be that in would be swift and over with without having to be drawn out and far less expensive and tiresome.

Maybe it is done the way it has all these years been done to suit the convenience of the contesting candidates to enable them to move around the country and campaign! Your suggestion however is worth considering by the election officials!
