Get a really BIG telescope and look for footprints!

How can you prove that we did **NOT** land on the moon in 1969, with scientifically unsupportable conspiracy theories and ludicrous extrapolations?

Would it be proof enough for you to realize that the Soviet Union, our mortal enemies at the time, congratulated us for being the first on the Moon? The several hundred pounds of moon racks returned? The eyewitness accounts of more than a quarter million NASA employees, not a one of whom has yet accepted the standing offer of millions of dollars to expose the "hoax"?

But I guess the best proof would be the reflecting mirrors we left behind to accurately measure the distance from the Earth to the Moon with Lasers.

But then again, for the skeptics, there is no such thing as proof.

You are asking a philosophical question. Try to prove that YOU exist. Proving something is not as easy as it may look. In the last analysis, proof means getting others to believe the same thing you believe. There is probably nothing that can be proven to EVERYONE. However, most people believe that we really went to the moon, just as most people believe that there really was a Holocaust.

The Chinese are planning to visit and they can tell us all if the flag and footprints are still there (there is no weather on the moon thus no erosion). Do you know that China teaches its school children that we did not go to the moon because they think we did not have adequate protection for the astronauts against cosmic rays and especially the radiation found in the Van Allen Belts? I guess they think we put the laser reflectors on the moon with one of our unmanned probes.

Of course we can't ask Chris Columbus if he REALLY was a sailor, but there are plenty of folks to talk to, that were there in 1969. Of course, the entire bunch are pathological liars now living on the grassy knoll, discussing politics with aliens from area 51. Need a fresh conspiracy. How about the one where U.S. government officials simultaneously blow the W.T.C. as the planes fly in?

Because they left a mirror up there to bounce a laser beam off of so they could measure the distance from earth to the moon, because it was believed that the moon is constantly getting farther away. Anyone with a strong enough laser can bounce a signal off the mirror. And yes the moon is getting farther away.

"Chic" is right; they left laser reflecting mirrors on the moon. And don't forget the moon rocks in the museums. And besides, if we didn't go to the moon, then where did all of those Saturn-V rockets go to that we all saw lifting off? They had to go somewhere.

And if NASA produced a hoax, then why didn't our main rival, the USSR, try to expose the hoax? You know that they would have jumped at the chance to embarrass the USA if they could.

Well the whole disclaimer was started by thge Flat Earth Society when the astronauts brought photos of a round earth. The society said it was all faked and done in a studio. You may want to consider joining if you're asking questions like that. By the way, how can we really prove Columbus came to America ?

The same way you prove that the super bowl III was really played in 1969. Both were giant public events with millions of pages of documents out there and many witnesses and participants still living.

But only an idiot would demand proof that the super bowl III was played, so I guess that tells you what I think of anyone who demands proof of the Apollo landings.

The evidence forwarded for them not going to the moon was worked out by someone who wasn't a scientist, just a relatively uneduacated conspiricy theorist. I can'tremember the site but if you look on Google you can find a site that discredits everything that was said.

They left a special reflecting mirror, made in France. Any country can reflect a laser bean to measure the distance...
How can you prove the laser beans are reflecting in a different thing than this special mirror?
