Nah, I was 25 when I first got on it in 2003 and most people I knew that were on there were my age or older. It was only later that I noticed more and more really young kids. A lot of people use it for job related stuff now too, like record labels, etc.. I've never found a good reason to delete my account. Most people I know were all on Friendster first, so that would have made me 24 at that time anyway. Plus, I live in NYC where 30 year olds act like teenagers still so it makes sense.
I do think it's weird when people are super old though. It's a little creepy when all their 'friends' are 30 years younger than them.
Plus, the guy who founded it was 28 at the time...

If you're 30 years old and looking for teenage friends - yes. If you're looking for friends and contacts your own age and interests, I don't see why age should be an issue. I belong to myspace, and I'm a long way past 30.

i am 30 and all of my friends over there are my age or older. its just a fun way to communicate and keep in touch with people regardless of your age. its not like i run around the site trying to strike up random friendships with teenagers, and besides if you arent interested in somebody nobody is forcing you to read their profile over there.

I don't participate, but it's actually become a great way for networking and businesses also..I think it's more a matter of people who are too young

No, because they are the older children of the true beginnings of generation X! You should actually be thanking them for all the technology you take for granted and think children invented!

I'm 54 and love it. I stay in touch with my kids and grandkids. We have fun with bulletines and I get to know about them in a way that is real. They don't seem to edit themselves on "My Space". And I've met plenty of folks my age. Sorry kids.
