He has a good job and makes a very good living- he says that the only reason he's living with her is because the house is now in his name and he needs to "protect his investment". I think that's bullsh-- because he lived with her BEFORE the house was in his name.
Personality wise, he's very cocky and arrogant. Say's he's got a fantastic life- and from many perspectives I guess he does. He has someone to cook for him, etc. He says he needs to care for her.....And yet I find him strangely attractive. Advice?

He's a big old momas boy!!! He will always be one too. You certainly are going to need a lot of patience to sustain a relationship with this guy. Good luck with that.

Doesn't sound like he has the problem! Sounds like you might. Is your problem with his mother? How does she treat you? If you have a fairly decent relationship with her then great. There's nothing wrong with a man living with his mother as long as he is his own person and doesn't let her control him.
In European countries this is a way of life. You say he is arrogant. As long as his arrogance isn't directed at you there shouldn't be a problem. I say stay with him and see where it goes. Be honest with him about how you're feeling. If he gets taken back about it then you'll know where you stand.

That is bs. Unless his mother is really ill and needs help, he needs to grow up and move out.
