What came first?

People are always in a conflict with this question: What came first the chicken or the egg????

Evolutionist, says the egg. The mother wasn't a chicken, but the baby was.

Religion says the chicken. The chicken was made by God, then the chicken laid the egg.

I say who cares, they both taste better with Tobasco.

Since chickens hatch from eggs which are laid by hens it's got to be the chicken. The question does not actually use a fair comparison. Birds are probably the only surviving creatures from the age of dinosaurs. In the process of evolution the hen, or it's ancestors, probably gave birth to live offspring but would have been easy prey to predators prior to doing this and their young vulnerable. They would thus have evolved the process of egg laying so that their mobility would not be impaired and they would be less likely to be eaten. The eggs would have been laid in an inaccessible place, such as a cliff wall, so protecting the species.

depends...religious ppl(like me) would say the egg cuz of god creating all the animal...scientists would say some animal evolved, and a chicken was born so the egg came first.

i really dont care which came 1st. i eat both! ;)
