Ok, I really would like an unbiased view as to what acting schools in Burbank or the area are the best. I have asked many people, and for obvious reasons, they always claim that where then attend is the best, afterall, who wants to think that there are missing out on something that could be better. I realize that with acting, what works for one person, might not work for another, but in terms of competence, what acting schools are good, and what ones arent even worth checking out? Thanks

Unfortunately I think despite some places reputations for being either good or not so good, each actor has their own experience and the only way to know is to audit a class (where available) and see for yourself. You can get other people's opinions, but your experience and what you're looking for in a class (or what you get out of it) may be completely different than another actor, know what I mean? Check out workingactors.com and got to the training section. Some schools/teachers have websites that may give you more info. I can tell you that if Ernie Lively ever got back into teaching classes, even if it were just a workshop it would be AWESOME!
