Almost all babies are born with blue eyes and the colour pigment does not come in till about 6 months. But in answer to your question yes 2 brown eyed people can have a baby with blue or green eyes it would be a throw back from an earlier generation like grandparents great grandparents. Saying that brown is a predominate colour so your babies eyes may change to brown as he/she gets older.

Yes they can if one or both of the parent carries the gene. But, in some cases, the baby may be born with blue eyes and after some time, the colour of their eyes might change (in this case, brown).

If ya'll have a recessive blue eye gene somewhere in the gene pool, the baby could take it. But I know every single one of my brothers and sisters have brown eyes like my dad and only one boy has blue eyes.

Yes. Brown eyes are dominant & blue recessive. A baby gets one gene from each parent, so if both parents have the genetic components BrBl (one brown & one blue from THEIR parents), they could each give one Blue gene to the baby & the baby will have the genetic makeup BlBl & blue eyes.

it can happen as other people in either side of the family may have blue eyes which the baby might follow..however its more likely that the baby will have brown eyes as its the most dominant colour..but like i said its not impossible for them to be blue either

If I remember my genetics correctly yes, blue is a recessive gene so if both parents had one blue and one brown eyed gene then there woud be a 1 in 4 chance of blue eyes.
Would not work if one parent had two brown eyed genes though because it would mask the blue gene.

Definitely. Blue is recessive and brown is dominant, but dominant doesn't mean it will always come out on top. It just means it is more likely to do so. My hubby and I both have green eyes with brown specs. Our daughter has blue eyes with brown specs. (Both grandfathers had blue eyes.)

Yes, if both brown eyed parents have at least one parent/grandparent that has blue eyes. That would mean they carry the recessive gene.
My parents have : brown and hazel eyes and I have blue and both of my babies have blue. So, yes, it's possible.

Yes. The gene for blue eyes is recessive. If you have one blue eyed gene and one brown eyed gene you will have brown eyes. If both parents have one blue eyed gene and one brown eyed gene they will both have brown eyes, but they can both give their children a blue eyed gene and the kids will have two blue eyed genes and so their eyes are blue. Two parents with blue eyes cannot have a brown eyed baby.

it is possible. remember brown is the dominant gene...
if mum has brown eyes (but made up from one brown gene and one blue gene) and dad has brown eyes (also made up from one brown gene and one blue gene).
then there is a 1/8 chance that baby will get both blue genes (and therefore blue eyes)
if baby get any other mixture (eg brown and blue or brown and brown) then baby will have brown eyes.
