pretty sure it isn't a fad..... it has lasted quite some time now and doesn't seem to be fading away like some new clothing style...... it is staying

It comes and goes, like any other trend. But people have been doing body modifications in Africa for hundreds of years, so I'd say it's here to stay although it may not always be mainstream.

No because when we get tired of it our little brothers and sisters will like them and then our kids our nieces and nephews their kids and so on the younger generation whom ever that may be at the time will always think they are cool when they are young as did we
