Use nice words sincerely and convincingly like enchanting, bewitching, captivating, charming, and do it without being the cheesiest guy in the place! Look into her eyes and into her soul and make a connection (without being creepy) :-) It's even cute and endearing to be able to leave a man speechless. If you stop dead in your tracks, starting right into her eyes, and simply say "Wow" (again, sincerely... not cheesily). It's an ego boost :-) Then when you ask her out, it's "Say you'll have dinner with me" or something like that (like you need to see her again) and not wishy washy like "yeah, maybe we should go out sometime..."

If you know the guy has a crush on this girl and is just too shy to make the first move, then the girl should step in and make it apparent that she likes him back. This isn't the traditional way to start a relationship, but some guys just lack the initiative and or confidence to make the first move. Good luck =)

As long as it is the truth! You have the most captivating eyes I have ever seen.
Once at a bookstore looking for something, a woman passed and I just said 'Wow, that is a gorgeous dress you are wearing'
She passed on without saying anything...
About 10 minutes later, on the way back she paused in front of me and said 'You made my day, thank you'.
With that she made mine.

right this answer is coming from a gal. Just... SMILE. Seriously it melts girls' hearts! There is this guy in my form and i swear down i am head over heals in love wif im!!! I don't know if he likes me in that way or not but whenever he smiles at me it makes me go weak at the knees!!!! So the next time you see that girl u like flash her a cute, cheeky smile. P.S make sure you ain't got food in your mouth or wedged between your teeth. lol

any nice compliment is good.
One I had that I liked was during a conversation I was told I was clever. That was really sweet and it stuck with me.
I guess clever isn't a word we use much.
