Camping in the mountains of Colorado in the summer. It was very peaceful and relaxing. It was an isolation being one with nature kind of chilled out though. If you're talking about a place where the people are chilled out I would suggest Austin, TX. I'm a little biased cause I live here but their is a very relaxed attitude in this town (lots of sandals and t-shirts) and tons of music venues as well as many chilled out places to swim or camp out either in Austin or close by.

Well ... I must be "over 30" ... 'cause I am not totally sure as to what you mean by "chilled out!" Ha! :-)
I took a vacation to London, England a few years ago - that was pretty "chilled out!" It's an amazing city! I also took my first trip to New York City - a year ago, this month - I was SO impressed - I can't tell you how much! - I think that I am in love with NYC! I've never seen anything like it! "Hello!" to everyone in NYC! - "Yous guys" ROCK !!!
If by "chilled out" you mean discos, nightclubs, etc...? - well, there was a very cool little disco - back in my college days, across the street from my dorm - it was small - but I will never forget the memories of how many "wild nights" at the disco, that I had, back in "the glory days" of my "youth!" (I am still "young at heart" though!) Boogie Down ! :-)

Napa Valley. That's why I moved here. It's gorgeous, laid back, friendly people, good food and wine. It's so idyllic. Even after 3 years I feel like I'm on vacation every day.
