Popular name brands are always more expensive. The company wants to capitalize on its popularity. Look for similar styles at places like Target and save some $$$.

Because it's couture silly. Couture is expensive!! You pay top price to top design. They have great pants and great jackets.

You're paying for the name.
That, & they've got celebrities advertising their name all over Hollywood. There are people who are willing to pay big bucks to wear what their favorite celeb wears, so there's a good reason to rack up the price, too.
