Ok I know the "milestones" part is kind of corny, but I was just wondering how far everyone here was when they first felt the tiny movements and when their partner could feel the baby, and when they could SEE the belly move...

Im wondering because I am only 22 weeks, and since around 14 weeks I was feeling the baby every now and then.... just little rolling feelings (and no one believed me... "its gas", they said) then around 3 weeks ago, it got more frequent... like once aday he would get active and move for a while.. and he could be felt sometimes... NOW at 22 weeks, he is moving it seems like all day long and i watched my belly move around this morning, and my hubby saw it from across the room. lol

Everyone thinks this is happening too soon for me, since all the website and everyone says most women dont even feel FLUTTERS by 22 weeks...

Others actual experiences???

I experienced movement from my first child at 14 1/2 weeks..
I am currently pregnant with my 2nd and felt it at about 15 weeks.
This is NOT TOO early! !!
It is normal especially if you are thin... Some babies are just more active than others AND some babies don't kick outwards so that it is easily felt ...

Congratulations! :)

I felt my first movements at around 17 weeks--and yes they just felt like gas bubbles :) that was at the end of January....they very gradually got more noticeable and definite, and by early March (22-23 weeks preg.) I could feel a lot bigger bumps/thumps, and my husband could put his hand on me and feel them too.

For the past couple months now the movement has been strong and I don't even have to put my hand on it, I can just sit & watch my belly get pummeled and jiggled :) the baby occasionally stretches now too and I get this funny visible lump off to either side of my belly button, that goes down after several seconds. I'm 29.5 weeks along now and get pummeled all day long! :)

By 23 weeks I was watching my tummy move too. I couldnt see it from across the room, but if I was lying down you could totally see it. I felt my 1st movements at 17 weeks. I think a lot of it depends on how thin you are. If theres a lot of cushin it kinda makes it hard to see. Now, at 28 weeks, its crazy feeling, and you can see it very easily.

You are probably on the petite side. I am a fat woman and have always felt my babies move and can see them move early (I am on the home stretch with my third). Just ignore "everyone" and enjoy it. Those little flutters aren't so cute when the little maniac has a foot planted firmly in your ribs or on your aorta. Enjoy it now and congrats.

I was about 18 weeks when i felt it move.My hubby didn't felt it move till about 24-25 weeks.I tried to get him to feel when the baby was moving the most.I loved wathing my baby move inside me.My hubby thought it was gross but oh well. And didn't want to touch it cuz he thought he might hurt him when the baby was inside on me.

I read that it's somewhere between 14-17 weeks that you start to feel fetal movements, so you're not crazy! No worries!

I was exactly the same as you, don't listen to people, whats important is your personal experience with your baby in your womb. Congratulations.
