Hi Huntergirl,
I started working in a veterinary hospital when I was 15 and never stopped - it has now been 28 years! I love it. I got my first job by applying to a veterinary hospital in town as a kennel worker. From there, I learned a lot from the veterinary technicians and became a treatment nurse and kept on moving up in the ranks. I am a certified veterinary technician and a certified practice manager. I love my career and am glad that I stuck with it. You can currently go to school on line in an effort to take the NAVTA test to become certified. I believe that you also need to have 3 years of experience at a veterinary hospital.
Best Wishes
Pam

Some vet offices are willing to hire teenagers on a part time basis. Sounds like you have great experience. You might also look into a job at a pet store. Or how about petsitting or dog walking, you could start your own business.
