Racial Bashing Off-Set Credits.

Because *SOME african americans still, after all these years, have a chip on their shoulder over slavery and they bring it up and make fun of it to make the past of their ancestors seem not as bad, when really they should just "put the past away" and forget it. The thing that confuses me is that blacks and hispanics call one another "*****" but if I were to say it they'd be SO offended.
I'm not directing this to all blacks and hispanics, I believe ignorant whites fall under the same category as ignorant blacks and hispanics. I also have friends of both nationalities.

They have no license, just as whites have no license in return. In light of recent events, I believe everyone of any color at all is taking a closer look at how they are responsible for perpetuating negative, sarcastic and inappropriate comments. No race or color has any right or license to down another race - we are supposed to be more civilized now than we were in the past, when many wrongs were done against certain races. As a result, all races should now be playing on a level field and show respect for one another - and equally as important, for their OWN race, by complimenting one another instead of belittling with racist jokes.

I am african-american and don't crack white jokes. I find them offensive. I wouldn't want whites cracking jokes about me.

After your people have suffered more than 200 years of slavery followed by another 100 years of denial of your constitutional rights, then you have the right to crack jokes at the people who held you down.

It amazes me how some libs who answered seem to justify racism. I didn't do anything to anyone and I don't know of any white person alive today that has kidnapped blacks and put them into slavery. How much longer will that argument be good for?

You can crack AA jokes and if its funny they will laugh. I wouldn't suggest jokes like....what do you call a black guy in court? GUILTY! Whats long and hard on a black man? 3rd GRADE!
Ask them they will tell you, like most people they respond to honesty.

I agree with you.
I hear alot of people using the "slavery" thing...
First of all, None of my ancestors owned any "slaves"
Secondly, who do you think helped these "slaves" to freedom? Who do you think fought in the war and DIED for their freedom?
Who do you think hide them in their homes, and feed them...knowing that they could be killed themselves?
And the answer is: WHITE PEOPLE!
Enough with the Slavery Crap.
It wasn't "whites" who owned them...It was just bad people...
