Jimmy Page, I am still a Led Zeppelin fan, own most of there CD releases and a coupled of DVDs, I've seen them in concert (more then once) and last of all a Rock n Roll band I was with played lots of there songs.
Today, Page is still noted as one of the VERY BEST ROCK AND ROLL GUITARIST IN HISTORY!

Jimmy Page with the Black Crows Live CD is awesome and, that old man can still jam.

My favorite guitarists are:
Tom Delonge (Angels and Airwaves/Blink 182/BoxCar Racer) and Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day)
Because they were the first bands that I ever listened to and because they were the guitarists that got me into playing guitar and writing lyrics to my own songs.

But, some other favorites of mine are:
Slash (Guns n Roses/Velvet Revolver) and
Synyster Gates (Avenged Sevenfold) - Both are truly amazing and awesome guitarists!!!!!!!

Oh, also Eric Clapton and Joe Perry (Aerosmith) are amazing too!!!!!!

Jimmy Page - the sounds that this guy can get out of that old 1959 Martin that he plays are just out of this world.

I also like Steve Howe

Carlos Santana

There's so many good ones out there.
