Why did Clinton do so much better with the economy that Reagan did? Record growth AND putting us on track to pay off our Reagan era debt. I'm more impressed by what a politician does in office than what they promised to get elected.

Most of the wackjobs on this forum are waaayyyyyy too young to make meaningful comments regarding Ronald Reagan (they're also incapable, but that's another "issue"); but, every once in awhile, some idjut trots out the old "Reagan was the end of the world [as they knew it, anyway!]." mantra. I suspect it goes right over the heads of most of the children that hang out here.
No, Dems are hateful because they know, they just KNOW that they're right and everyone else is wrong, wrong, wrong! And, if we won't cede control over most aspects of our lives to them, how are these Dems ever gonna give us all the help we so desperately need from them?
My fervent hope is that the wacky-job Dems drown in their own bile.

Hatefulness of EACH OTHER has been around in American politics since they signed the Constitution. Even George Washington thought our political system was flawed and recommended we all try something different from what we are STILL doing today when he wrote his farewell address.

Get a grip, they really aren't hateful; by having a two party government it involves differences from the two sides and you know what, that is part of the secret, one side keeps the other in check, it prevents a monopoly. From the beginning there was conflict and there will continue to be.
