I used to work for wal-mart and when i moved I didn't have transportation cause of the crappy bus lines. I couldn't relocate because I hadn't been there for 6 months yet so my only option was to quit...needless to say I moved back to the side of town where I was staying while working at wal-mart and I reapplied...I got an interview only to be told they do rehires separtly...New person overlooked my app. I guess and didn't notice that I had worked at the same location before....so does anyone know if I have another shot at walmart?

As far as I know..they have you go to 3 seperate interviews...It may be an oversight to have not seen you worked at the same location before...or it could be they felt you were a good worker before and would perhaps consider giving you another shot at the job. When asked why you left? You can explain you had no transportation..and now you have that under control, will always be at work ontime etc*..BEST WISHES* (and in any job....you should give at least one-two weeks notice no matter your circumstances unless it is out of your control to finish your time there).

I think your chances are pretty good. I really don't think they care about the two week notice, they just need people who are willing to work. I say go for it. If they really need people (which I'm sure they do) that won't make a difference.

Good luck!

If you quit with no notice they may not be very favorable, but put in an application and try.
