Do you actually have a question, or did you just feel the need to publicly whine?

A good 2 weeks as long as you stay off of it as much as possible and allow it to heal.
Be sure and prop it up to help the swelling when you are sitting down.
Have you wrapped the broken toe to the next one? That will give it more support.

good luck !:)

You can get a toe brace at the drug store. It is an aluminum splint you put over the toe and tape it in place. It isn't perfect but it does help. The pain is worst the first week. It gets cut in half about every three days.

I would suggest you keep your foot elevated for the next 3-5 days. Toe bones take a little while longer to mend. I think in the next 5-7days you will be able to drive comfortablly.

I can sympathize. My whole foot was so swollen that I could not put any shoe on. I did drive, because I had to for work but it was painful. It has been many years ago but I occasionally have twinges from it still. That is because the joint in the middle no longer bends.

Crutches? For a Broken toe? I fought a house fire with 2 broken toes before. I also drove a stick shift car the day after knee surgery on my left knee! Suck it up!
