I used Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Fungus Cure Powder Packets. It came off and it his bones are now visible on his dorsal fin. His skin is completely gone. And its been a week since the fungus dissapeared and its starting to come back? What do I do?

First, I would swap medications and find a different fungus medication. A really good water change won't hurt either. It's quite possible you have a bacterial infection instead of fungus causing the problem. I would plan to treat the tank with an antibiotic such as Furan-2 or Furanace as soon as possible. Be sure to continue treatment for a ful 14 days even if you see no signs of the disease before that. That will help prevent reoccurances like you are now fighting.

I would discontinue use of that product and try Aquarium Pharmaceuticals (API) Pimafix of Melafix. One is for bacterial infections and/or fungus. Pimafix is good for more serious fungal infections. They can also be used together. I also like to add alittle API aquarium salt when I am treating my fish. The treatments should be used for 7 consecutive days. This will help with re-occurrence of the infection. As for his fin, the salt should help. Also try API Stress Coat. This will help his fin heal.

that happend to my fish too. i just let it die b,c it kept coming bk it went on for a month. the fish looked sooo sick so i let it be.

try it agine and if it comes bk then i would just let the goldfish die. if theres other fish in the tank they might end up getting it too.
after you get the fungus gone.. if it works this time.. wash out the tank very good. to kill the germs that carry the fungus.or if ur goldfish dies still wash it out.

i would say to buy new rocks and everything u have in there. or if u can clean them very good!
