They have had great pitching. That is the key. And a solid leadoff hitter in Erstad. So yes - they have what it takes. Will they? Who knows. But they will compete. So all those idiots who said that they will be below KC and that they "traded away all their best pitchers" can hang their heads in shame and say "I was wrong".

They can win the central and the pennant. As of right now, I don't see any breakout teams. The National league would be the dodgers if they stay healthy and consistent. The sox are getting into a groove which should help them in upcoming games. If the sox were in the national league central last year with their record, the Cardinals would not be in the playoffs. The AL central is probably still the best in baseball.

The Philadelphia Phillies. they have not got the final one million-5 yet they have a touch good one. Myers, Garcia, and Hamels will all do super and Eaton and Moyer are appropriate 4 and 5 pitchers. having stated that, as hassle-free the Phillies offense is its capability that's why i like them to win it. i'm finding at each and each of the best communities and none of them ideal now have the two, a competent offense and an excellent one million-5. they only have considered one of the two. having stated that, the Tigers taken aback us final 12 months. question me lower back in 2-3months. My sleeper p.c.. is the Chicago White Sox. If all people gets their stuff collectively and a #5 pitcher works out, they have the final standard group. subject is, can all people bear in mind the thank you to play.

They had solid, consistent pitching all through 2005. It's been less than that since. In order to win this time, they'll need to pitch like that again, and I just don't see that happening. It would also help if Ozzie Guillen remains only feisty (as he was in 2005) and not crazy (as he was in 2006). Otherwise, he runs the risk of becoming the Hispanic Billy Martin, and, as a Yankee Fan, I can tell that it isn't a compliment.

No!! Two years ago was a fluke. The White Sox will come in third in their division behind Minnesota and Detroit.

I think once that offense gets clicking on all cylinders they will be a playoff contender. Once in the playoffs anything can happen in a short series with good pitching.
