I agree with you. Being a falcons fan i believe we should bring in cj21 while moving up in the draft. If vick had a receiver he would develop into a better quarterback. I wouldn't go as far to say he is the best black qb ever just yet. You watch vick haters as the falcons go 16-0 next year!

No, you really think he's better than Randall Cunningham, Donovan McNabb or Steve McNair?? You're nuts. The recievers aren't the entire problem. I can't wait until Atlanta gets a good reciever so that all the Vick lovers will see that. Watch Joe Horn this year, hes getting old and slow but he still has great hands. I want to see everyone blame Vick's inept passing abilities on him. The problem is Vick is incredibly inaccurate and always, and I mean always, late with his throws. I don't know why, but I assume its because he spends his time looking for running lanes instead of passing lanes. Also, he can't read a defense for his life.

Grossman is better then you think, and he did something Vick will NEVER do- He was the starting QB in the Superbowl. Oh and in case you didn't know Randall Cunningham was BLACK. That ALONE proves that Vick isn't the best ever. Heck I don't like McNabb but HE is better then Vick, and that is going by in the league playing RIGHT NOW. McNair is BETTER then Vick. I guess you him and Ricky Williams were having a party.

I dont think Vick is the best black QB ever. Im not sure why we put black QB's in their own category in the first place, isnt that kind of stereotyping? I will answer the question anyway though because I cant beleive anybody would consider Vick the best at anything! First of all, he is way too injury prone so I would not even want him on my team, even as a backup! He makes way too many mental mistakes for a QB and his running ability does not make up for his shortcomings as a QB in my opionion. I would say the best black QB ever would be Doug Williams, maybe Warren Moon. Thats a toss up. Doug Williams based on the fact that he is a certified winner. He has a Super Bowl ring and a Super Bowl MVP to show for it. Warren Moon has the stats though, and he is in the HOF. There are way better black QB's out there than Vick. Out of my own knowledge I would list the ones I can think of in this order:
1. Doug Williams
2. Warren Moon
3. Randall Cunningham
4. Donovan McNabb
5. Steve McNair
6. Vince Young
7. Jarmarcus Russell (you didnt say NFL QB's)
8. Michael Vick
9. Akili Smith
10. Tony Banks
As you see, he is just better than Akili Smith and Tony Banks. I dont consider Vick a very good QB at all! Barely average.

Absolutely not!! Just like everybody else has said. He has like the worst passer rating every year. Warren Moon is the best ever right now without question. McNabb has a chance if he can stay healthy and play for a while longer, probably a long while. Vince Young had a horrible completion percentage, looked better than he really was because he team was winning. They say vince young really turned the team around, how about the defense? How about Travis Henry? VY doesnt have a chance in my mind.

best black qb? no. he has shades of it at times but there are better ones like already said. Moon, Cunningham, McNabb, to name a few. I even think Aaron Brooks at his prime w/ the saints is better because I saw him whip the Falcons about 5 years ago against Vick. Young will probably be the best black qb of all time. If the receivers cant catch then why are they receivers. Receivers on the free agent market are a dime a dozen. Get Moss on the Falcons and see if there is any change. Its all about chemistry between the qb and receiver, just ask rice and montana. I think Vick is selfish and predictable

I think that Michael Vick isn't even in the top 5 black quarterbacks of all time. Ahead of him would be Warren Moon, Randall Cunningham, Steve McNair, Doug Williams, and Fritz Pollard, just to name a few.

Vick is a good athlete but Vick is just a running back that happens to able to throw the ball if he couldn't run he would never have even been drafted an jus to prove it look at Troy Smith he is kinda like Vick in size but is slower an they're pickin him to go in the 4th round

No way. Warren Moon hasn't been close to being passed by Vick. Doug Williams won a SB, something Vick will never do. Vick's probably more over-rated than Andre Ware, so you can claim that.

For a rushing QB, he is impressive.
For being a QB period, Warren Moon, Doug Williams, and Steve McNair have him beat hands down.
Also, if you want a current young black QB with throwing skills and the ability to run, look at Donovan McNabb.
