I took them for a while and didn't really feel a whole lot of difference. I was taking one in the morning, then drinking Vitamin Water (Revive flavor - large bottle). I still got tired at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. during my day. :(
He can try them, maybe they'll work for him. Is he getting a good night's rest? That is important too! :) Good luck!

One a Day is not an organic multivitamin. It is man made. Drop a pill into a warm glass of water and see how slowly it breaks down. It could sit there for days! This means that what you swallow comes with out the other end! Waste of money! Organic supplements and vitamins will break down quicker, therefore your system will get the best use out of them. Taking one super pill a day doesn't do the greatest job. Such vitamins as vitamin A, C, and E deplete with stress. So let's say you take it in the morning. By the time you get to work half of it has already been used up because of the stress you endured in the travel in traffic to work. Also, if you work out, stress on your body also uses us these main vitamins quickly. You should look for a vitamin that is taken 3 times per day! Any multivitamin is going to give you more energy than you previously had if you haven't been taking them. So yes, it will work. It'll take a while and may only be a slight increase in energy levels, but it'll work. Also try eating more fruits and veggies and being more active (if he's not already). I know I have a lot more energy on my run days than on my off days.

most people actually don't need any supplements. If you are a junk food addict then maybe it will help a lot. There is nothing that is fast. It takes several weeks for any change and the levels are small. Actually increased exercise is the greatest energy booster. It causes greater blood flow and higher matabalism resulting in greater energy.

There is no one super pill that will give you energy all day. He can get a good MEN'S multi vitamin to HELP out a bit. I personally take, Mega Men, from GNC. But ones diet, sleep pattern and overall fitness level is what should be addressed before taking any supplements.

THE ENERGY CARD Today did I: The “Big Three” - • Start the day after at least 7-8 hours of sleep? • Eat every three hours, combining proteins and small amounts of fats with carbohydrates at every meal? • Avoid overly processed grains, such as white flour? • Moderate intake of “junk” foods, desserts, dressings, and other “extras”? • Avoid artificial sweeteners? • Moderate sugar intake; eating primarily brown and raw sugars when they are consumed? • Exercise? Other Important Considerations - • Drink one gallon of water? • Avoid caffeine from coffee and sodas, and limit teas? • Supplement with 1000 mg of Vitamin C two times daily? • Supplement with a Vitamin B-complex? • Spend at least 20 minutes, at one time, outside in natural light?
