Can anybody give me information on fashion in the 60's?

can anybody tell me some big trends, styles, etc. about the fashion of the 60's. was there a reason behind their fashion? what was the advertising like back then? if you werew going to be considered "cool" in the 1960's what would you hae worn? how did fashion reflect the discontent of the decade? who was the main target of advertisers? what was "en vogue" for men and women in the 1960's? what otyher trends were there for cars, houses, etc.? anybody from the 60's know? :]

yea just not wash your hair, clothes or under garments for about a month, get the crabs, take lots of drugs, let your health go south and stick a flower in your hair. thats about it
