He'll play and I think this year his true colors will be revealed... if it is about the money, he'll be a Yankee... if it really is about the whole being closer to family and reasons for "retirement" the first few go rounds...then he'll suit up in Houston... either way... He's going to play, and we're going to find out what he's really all about... money or values.... most everyone's bet is on money....

This whole act is about driving his cost up... It's an act... he knows what he's doing. He's a business man first, baseball player second.

Well, Roger the dodger, the bumbler, the king of contradiction, the self serving moron just hasn't decided yet. He is the only player who can miss spring training, not travel with the team to away games unless he is scheduled to pitch and then he arrives on that day, can dictate when the season will begin for him, and hold baseball ransom for an undeserved salary. He is NOT a team player and is a disgrace to Baseball. I only wish he would retire and let us fans enjoy the game minus his antics!!

Chow!!

He dosen't play 0.5 the season interior the minors. In would he alternatives a set that he needs to play for, then makes some starts off interior the minors and joins the majors in June. he's so fantastically paid becasue he's a great pitcher and the Yankees can discover the money for it.

Roger has his head up his butt! For someone who talks like a dope, he is pretty smart. He has all these teams by the you know what! Pitching is scarce these days and there is ALWAYS someone desperate to pay whatever for him (see yankees in a few weeks), so he knows he has it made. This is so bad for baseball and how they let this cocky all about me jerk hold the league hostage. My guess he pulls his groin as usual and the yankees waste some more millions on a over aged pitcher.

He said he wont make a decision about his future until at least mid May if not later, from what I have read as well he is in worse shape then he was last year as welll which is not a good sign. He is a premadonna and an ego maniac, always has been always will.

Typical Rocket - Yes, he will play..

He will string the 3 teams along (HOU, BOS, NYY) and eventually pull the same thing: Re-sign with Houston where he's got a cushy set up (Doesn't have to travel, only pitches at home, etc..)

i think he will play this year. and as much as i respect him... i'm getting pretty annoyed with this situation. i think it hurts the game. personally i don't see how any present player would like him for what he is doing. sure he might be the "rocket" and a first ballot hall of famer, but this is getting old real quick.

Eventually Debbie will get tired of him hanging around the mansion all the time, and tell him to go sign and pitch. And he will.

He will play for the highest bidder, but he has to wait until all the steroids are out of his system before he can officially announce it.
