I was induced, so I never had to question what was going on. Why don't you call your doctor's office and talk to the nurse? You can tell her your symptoms and she can decide if they need to check you out. This time of year, I can't help but wonder if you have allergies. Your nasal passages should be pretty swollen anyway, and that makes them more sensitive. That could attribute to the sneezing, and the sleepiness.
If you can't get ahold of your doctor's office, see if the hospital you are going to deliver at has a nurse hotline, like Ask-A-Nurse. They might be able to give you some tips on how to get comfortable. If you're sleepy, get some sleep. It will be awhile before you get that luxury again. Congratulations!

How frequently are these pains occuring? If they are less than 5 minutes apart I'd get to a hospital or at least to my doctors office as when contractions are that frequent, it is the beginning of labor. If what you're experiencing is not contractions, call your doctor ASAP. What tends to happen before labor as far as illness is what seems like a very bad cold/sinus infection. If you're having sharp pains, call your provider. They may want to examine you to make sure that everything is okay.

I would call your doc and go in to get checked out.
The reason for the sinus issues is this:
There are hormones that your body will release in order to soften your uterus to get it ready for labor. Unfortunately, those hormones have the same effect on sinuses for a lot of women. (I spent the last month of my pregnancy just dripping with snot!)
For some women, that happens really early (like me) and some, not til the end, some not at all. But your cramping combined with that sounds suspicious. Your doc can tell you either to go home and make some chicken noodle soup or go home and pack a bag! Call him/her...and good luck!

Sounds like labor to me. Call your doctor and tell him what is going on. The symptoms are overlapping. You are sick w/cold, allergy or flu....but the cramping and lowback pain is contractions. Are you leaking amniotic fluid? (Do you have to wear a pad to keep your pants dry?) If you are leaking fluid, go to the hospital. They can check to see how much the baby has and make a decision as to whether or not induce you.

First you need to let your doctor know that you are having these pains and how often they accor. When i was pregnant with my daughter, which was my second, i had lots of pains with her in the 2 to 3 weeks before i had her. My doctor said it was normal but i would keep a close eye on times and be careful not to go on long car trips.

Ok I would say go and get checked, no labor and delivery nurse has ever died, nor has an OB, because a patient came in cause they werent sure, thats what were their for, it's our JOB! If your not sure go get checked at worse you will be sent home and know where you stand, at best, your in labor and dont know it, and by this time tomorrow you will have a beautiful baby to show for it!

It would be the flu if you were throwing up, sleeping a lot. Take a HOT shower to losen your muscles and stay home in your PJs drink hot chocolate or tea and see how you feel. Take a day to youself and if your still expierencing these symptoms go to your doctor and see what she says.

I do not mean to be rude by any means, but instead of sitting on the internet asking and RE ASKING this question is quite possibly one of the dumbest things I have ever seen someone do. Perhaps you just do not truly care. If you had any common sense or real concern for the child you are carrying you would have already went to a doctor! Get off the internet and get to a doctor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You probably just have a sinus infection and the pain you feel is just your baby getting bigger inside you. It is too early still for you to be in labor but I would suggest that you drink alot of water, that will help with the crampy feelings.
