If you're looking for a natural disinfectant like bleach for the kitchen, you can use regular white vinegar. Just rinse with water after it sits on any surface for a few minutes because it is an acid.

If you're wanting something to remove stains like bleach, use a Mr. Clean erasure, it takes stains off of anything!

Chlorine is not a good cleaner. It only bleaches things, and disinfects. So don't use it to clean with, only to disinfect. You only need 1 part chlorine bleach to 11 parts water to make a good, very good, disinfectant. Don't think that other disinfectants are harmless to the environment, either. And chlorine can't be that much of an environmental hazard, as they use it in such things as tap water and pools. So don't worry about it.

I swear by 2 cleaners for the kitchen and bathroom. Try either Lysol's Antibacterial Kitchen Cleaner or 409 Antibacterial. I like them both equally.

Lysol makes several different cleaners for every type of cleaning need. I like the Apple scented disinfecting cleaner. I put it in a spray bottle and use that for my kitchen counters. It gives the house a nice fresh scent.

I love Seventh Generation products! They have a glass and surface cleaner that works great, with no lingering smell of cleaner, which is nice! Also, IMUS products are great. Go with the natural products, they work well and don't harm anyone with disgusting fumes!
