From Rosie: "This has been an amazing experience, and one I wouldn't have traded for the world. Working with Barbara, Joy and Elisabeth has been one of the highlights of my career, but my needs for the future just didn't dovetail with what ABC was able to offer me. To all the viewers out there, I just want to say 'thank you' for opening up your hearts and your homes to me this past year. But you can always find me at rosie.com. Here's hoping there's more confetti for all of us going forward."
From Barbara: "I induced Rosie to come back to television on 'The View' even for just one year. She has given the program new vigor, new excitement and wonderful hours of television. I can only be grateful to her for this year. I am very sad that ABC Daytime could not reach an agreement with her for a second year. We will all miss Rosie on 'The View,' and hope she will be back with us often next season. She remains for me a cherished friend and colleague."

I am sad she is leaving. She speaks out on important issues and whether people agree with her or not, she is a great co-host, intelligent, controversial, interesting, a good comedian and a charitable person who has given well over 30 million dollars to those in need. She's a wonderful champion of human rights.
We need more like her, not less.

I enjoyed the spirit that Rosie brought to the show. She made it interesting and everybody liked talking about the conversations she started.
What I find "like nails on a chalkboard" is Elisabeth's attempted dominance of every discussion or segment with her right wing agenda. She constantly interrupted but added nothing but rhetoric she heard on Fox "news".
The show will now be dull without Rosie, although I do like Joy a lot. Barbara is getting to old to carry a conversation without stuttering or forgetting the point. I think the show is going to suffer.

I am so happy she will soon be gone. They were better off with Star Jones. People say that the show went up 15%. But it wasn't worth the insane far left beliefs that she constantly spewed.
she had an agenda to push her beliefs on us and most of them are crazy. 9/11 nonsense, her hatred of catholics while preaching tolerance of gays, and defense of Alec Baldwin and Don Imus.
The View does need a Left point of view but not one that far left.

I never watched the show.
I used to like Rosie, but the past several years, whenever she opened her yapper, she would spew out vile filth and hateful words against all sorts of people.
Viewers got tired of it and turned off the show.
No viewers, no ratings, no Rosie.
She is a victim of self-inflicted wounds.
She did it to herself.
And she will never get it...she is too wrapped up in her own grandiose ego to understand her errors.

I don't get the chance to watch the view, but when she had her own talk show I loved it. I hope she start her own talk show again.. I wish people would stop saying bad things about her.. she has a strong personality and is not afraid to say what she thinks..

I'm sad this ignorant, illiterate and repulsive woman has received any air time at all.
She's an embarrassment to women.
She's an embarrassment to liberals.
She's an embarrassment to homosexuals.
She's an embarrassment. Period.
