It is not all that uncommon to loose a couple of pounds during pregnancy. If you don't continue to loose weight it is probably nothing to worry about. Ask yourself (and your doctor if you think there may be a problem):
Is the baby still growing?
Is the baby still moving and active (no significant change)?
Is my nutrition good? Am I eating enough protein, whole grains, dairy products, and vegetables, EVERY SINGLE DAY? By enough, I mean you need to eat enough calories (2500 - 3000 for most pregnant women) and protein (80 - 100 grams), 7 - 9 servings of grains, and 5 vegetable servings per day (one could be a high vit. c fruit), and 3-4 good calcium sources too. Drink plenty of water also.
If you can answer yes to all these questions then a slight drop in weight is not a concern, unless it continues to drop

I'm 23 weeks and so far from first doctor visit to yesterday I have gained 4 pounds, and the doctor said I was doing just fine.
I think I've actually gained more than 4 pounds in pregnancy weight, but I lost some of my normal weight (from the throwing up). Like my tummy has gotten bigger, but I've noticed my arms and legs are skinnier.
Anyway, I wouldn't worry one bit about it.

You're fine. My friend lost 11 pounds in the beginning of her pregnancy because she was sick, then gained that 11 back and that was it. She didn't really gain any - and had a healthy 7 pound baby boy!

you are fine, think of it this way, at birth a baby weighs around 7 8 lbs., and add about 5 to 10 lbs for fluid, placenta and stuff. so when you give birth, that is only around 15 to 20 lbs gone.so the rest of the weight is weight you going to keep. i am not saying don't eat but ,you are not eating for two, you are eating for your self and something that weights under 10 lbs., the don't need much

Depends. If your heavy to begin with don't worry about it. If your small or very small to begin with you need to try and eat as much as you can, your baby needs more nutrients. Talk to your doctor about this.
