Getting the book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" published by The Stuttering Foundation and practicing each step thoroughly was how several of my uncles and cousins learned to overcome their stuttering. Search Google videos for "Straight Talk for Teens" or "For Kids, By Kids" too.

The Stuttering Foundation is the best source for help, videos, books, referrals to speech therapists who specialize in treating stuttering, etc.

You should see an audiologist/speech therapist first, since stuttering can be caused by the way your brain is processing the sound of your own speech.

Other than that, Mel Tillis sang to overcome his stutter and James Earl Jones recited poetry.

I don't have any experience with this, but maybe you should start by being really careful. When you want to say something, think of every single word individually as you say it, and say it slowly. I guess it'll be annoying for a while, but when you've practiced slowly without stuttering for a few weeks, you'll be able to talk faster(normal speed) without it.
