Seems hard to believe that an alternative carpet cleaning solution which is cheaper isn't on the market. Has anyone used an alternative carpet cleaner in their Bissell Shampooer that is cheaper and workable?

Yes, you can use other carper cleaning products in it. Also, simple green works great. Follow label directions. Smells great too.

This is more than a way to boost profits. It is a written disclaimer. Should you use any other product and there is a problem, either with the machine or the results, they are not liable. You have to realize that there are strange people out there that would put acid in a machine and then try to sue for damages. Just like putting a cup of hot coffee between your legs and suing because you got burnt.

I would highly suggest getting your carpet cleaned by a professional. Pet Stains leave a protein in your carpet that needs to be broken down in order to take away the stain and odor. Professional carpet cleaners use an enzyme to do this. Consult a professional to get the best results. FactoryFreshAZ.Com

Yes, I have. Any brand will work as long as it is the same type of cleaning solution. All the companies say that-one-because they want to sell their products-two because something really caustic could ruin the shampooer.

more like, it could harm Bissell's quarterly earnings and stock price.
