I have a little Carnival fish named Bobbles (I call him Bob)... I didnt expet him to live long but he is now two years old!!! But anyways... He it jut plain old orange fish. But this past month he has been turning white. Today he offically all white! What happend to my little Gold Fish?? Is he okay? I know there is that stuff you can put into fish tanks for Ick and stress. Is there something I can put in Bob's tank?

I don't care that he is white I just dont want him to die. He is in a 25 gal. tank and its only him and one other gold fish (Lucy)

Goldfish often change color a bit as they age. To turn totally white is quite unusual, but not unheard of either. The fact that he seems healthy otherwise and the other fish in the tank seems healthy says that all is well in your tank, just an unusual amount of color change. Enjoy having a rather unusual fish!

Sometimes they turn white its a fact of life, but he might have a bad case of white spot although i do doubt this but try getting some to put in the tank it only takes like 5 drops. i also got some specail salt to put in my fish tank that is good for your fish go to your local garden centre where they have a specialist fish person and ask them

Well I'm not really sure but make sure that you keep his fish tank clean because at times that can be the reason why they change colors and die.

It sounds like Bob is old. Gold fish loose their color when they get old. hope this helped
