of course questions such as this are subjective but...
as much as i like to watch Halle Berry act...and just looking at Halle Berry...my personal choice is Disturbia.
Disturbia is a more in your face kind of movie while Perfect Stranger is a lot quieter.
in Disturbia, because of the tone of the film, you can easily guess what is going to happen--you know you are going from point A to point B. there was not one surprise in this film in terms of plot for me. (and please, don't take that as a bad thing--i liked the journey, even tho it was a beeline from A to B).
in Perfect Stranger, i had no clue where the movie was going to end up. for me (maybe not for everyone), my mind was going back and forth, trying to figure out the mystery. and i did not (tho i would have liked more clues so i could have played along).
but as i think back over the two, Disturbia would be my choice for the better one.

Well, Disturbia is a remake and PS is just a horrible movie.
