times 100 to get %.

Volume of a cone = (1/3)(base)(altitude)
Volume of a cylinder = (base)(altitude)

(V of Cone) / (V of cylinder)

Then times 100 to get %

If there were 9/10 adults, then there were 1/10 children.

Self help is the best help. But then, I need 2 points !!!

- (a/4a)x100 = 25%

- (pi x r3 x h/3) / (pi x r2 x h) x 100 = 33.33% or 33 1/3%

-1/10 children =240 therefore total= 240x10 = 2400.
