Because they are delicious sliced on a roll with red gravy and mozzarella. Wait - that doesn't make sense at all.

I think the race card, at least in America, is worn out, tattered, over-played and now played out. The rest of the world may wrestle with the fact that people, all people, are just people, nothing more, nothing less. But finally, here, after years and years of our embarrassing and futile attempts to make some sort of distinction, have finally grown up and given in to the inevitability and finality of life, all life, albeit some piously, as though there was a choice in it , but none the less have evolved, into what remains to be seen. That is up to the individual, as it was intended, as it should always be. I wonder how many " eggplants" gave up their lives to protect the freedoms of this country, or how many so-called "eggplants" saved the lives of "non-eggplants" in the many wars of our checkered past. One more thing: I know that when I am among those of other nationalities, or skin color , I know that it is not my skin color for which I am being judged, but actually my true identity. People don't need to hear your life story to get an idea of who you are.
