i wanna know if this thing is true, i once saw in the page sweden.se that even though there are a lot of myths around swedish persons, it is becoming more acceptable for a married woman to have an "emotional affair" (?) with another man besides her husband as long as she doesn´t have sex with the other guy. Is this true? i mean i´m just curious about it.

I'm Swedish, and was surprised to read that, so I looked it up and found the passage at http://www.sweden.se/templates/cs/Article____12355.aspx . It doesn¨t mention "emotional affairs" in so many words, actually, but says "In Sweden, for instance, it is generally accepted that a married woman can have a close private relationship with another man without this involving sex." I don't really know what the author (who is good!) means with a "close private relationship", but my guess is that he simply means that a woman can have close male friends, just like she can have close female friends. That's true, although I have to say that jealousy from the husband is always a risk where such tight friendships exist, just like a wife may be jealous and suspicious of her husband's close female friends. I think that it's much, much more common that the married couple meet with their friends together, or together with other friends - not tête-à-tète, just the two of the close friends.

I know my husband wouldn't find it acceptable. Emotional affairs do just as much, if not more, damage to a marriage than a physical affair.

''women usually marry adult men that are like their father'' = no longer each and each of the time yet from time to time its genuine, you experience slightly secure practices being with a guy that has each and each of the best characteristics your father had, its in simple terms some stability. '' women who've a unique and healthful dating with thir father are much less in all likelihood to be promiscuous or pregnant at a youthful age '' = usually genuine, because of the fact which you wont be yearning interest from different adult men in the adventure that your father gave it to you. the eye that your father in no way gave you you are able to then crave off different adult men or adult men at a youthful age. '' in the adventure that your daughter is smoking then she's having intercourse '' = doesnt even make experience. Smoking might desire to be because of the fact she thinks evidently cool, peer rigidity or shes under pressure out and unearths it releaves stress. It doesnt imply shes had or is having intercourse. :)

I'm not Swedish, so I don't know much about their culture, but it sounds kind of stupid to me.
