sweetie, going out by ones self is a past time when your older, wiser and perhaps a little fearfull of ever having a life long commitment end every 4 months or so. thus it gets easier

Don't have a honey, so I always go out alone. Never went out with a honey, in fact. I do have trouble going out all alone, though, because some family member (parent, sister-in-law, brother, niece, nephew, etc.) is always tagging along.

I'd like a honey as long as he isn't too clingy nor too standoffish-- romantic but not possessive.

I can tell you, it has been about 18 months now. I have a 15 month old daughter, so my time is spent with my family these days. But prior to that, my wife and I will go our separate ways at least once every 6 weeks. I spent my time or weekend with the guys doing whatever. I really enjoy my time with the guys as I think I am still a bachelor.

We normally go out together, although my bf would stop off for 1-2 drinks on a Friday evening. The last time I went out drinking alone was about 3- 4 years ago.
It's not that I don't trust him but I am uncomfortable when he goes out alone. I just have no desire to go out with the girls.

I haven't gone out with the girls without my husband in over a year. I take him along and it works out better. My husband isn't the one to sit at the table with us though and interfere with our fun. He goes and sits with his buddies while we drink, dance, party and have a good time. Then when it is closing time, he takes us all home because he is the DD and we all know we will get home alive and with out the pit stop at the county jail. It has nothing to do with being clingy. It is just safer.

A few weeks ago. I love my husband more then anything in the world, but I strongly believe that just because you're married or in a relationship, you should give up your friends and that part of your life! And if you're in a relationship where you feel like you need to give up friends to make your other half happy, then you're with the wrong person.

I get to go to work for 13 hrs. a week without my kids or my honey...does that count??

Its not that I need him with me its just that our schedules don't allow either of us much freedom because we really only have one babysitter to use and its my mother so I don't like taking advantage of her. My husband gets to go out when he's away for drill weekends once a month. Suffice it to say, he gets to go out a WHOLE lot more than I do. I'm always stuck at home with the kids...

This past weekend and I had SO much fun. My husband is the clingy type, so when he's gone, so am I! I wish he would leave more often. I feel better when I am by myself with my friends.
